(INVESTIGATOR'S NAMES HAVE BEEN CHANGED TO MAINTAIN ANONYMITY)

Hello Family and friends! This week has been a busy and wonderful week! I was able to watch every session of conference! I feel that I could write a novel about how much I learned and what I loved about Conference, but instead I am going to say I am incredibly grateful for the Restoration and that we can have hope because we have Christ's Church on the Earth! I am grateful for President Monson- Our living prophet who Leads and Guides us under Christ's direction! I felt there were so many themes in Conference but the two most powerful for me were regarding the Family and obedience. Out of 10 commandments our world chooses to ignore at least 6! I was shocked. Our world is increasingly becoming worse and worse. Immorality is a norm and the Family is a thing of the past. A recent Convert came up to me with excitement in his voice and said it must start in the walls of our own homes! That’s where the change must happen! One family at a time! I know his words are true. If we build up our families and do everything possible to protect it we can have Christ in our lives and have a family based on principles of love, respect, unity, and forgiveness and not to mention true Happiness! I know the happiness the world has to offer is temporary and momentary and will not last and cannot last. The only happiness that lasts and leads to greater blessings are found in things of God. Nothing good can grow in the dark. We are the same. I am excited to have copies of their talks and to read them and re read them.
Why I titled my Email Muggles and Wizards was we tracted at Harry Potters house! See the picture. And for the Sunday Morning Session we ate breakfast at our Ward Mission Leaders house! And for a hobby he makes wands! His wife calls him Olivander’s assistant! I also then had strange dreams about Harry Potter haha. Anyway we had some very interesting tracting experiences this week... Maybe I will tell you when I get home haha
So last Wednesday we headed to our members who regularly feed us for dinner... I always get nervous to see what gets put on my plate... I smelled the fish before I even got to the door.... and when I looked across the room I saw full heads and fins! I went to the bathroom and maybe cried a little.... I thought to myself- I have two options... Run screaming from the house.. or Eat it. So i figured I would ask God which I should do. After some serious Prayer I sat at the Dinner table and proceeded to pick apart a fish and eat it! Papi you would have been so proud... I wrapped it in tortilla and put a lot of Hot sauce on it so I really couldn’t taste it and I ate a lot of it! It was a triumph for me that day!
So our investigator Epy is incredible! We taught her the Word of Wisdom this week and the Law of Chastity and she bore better testimonies to us than I ever could... The Gospel is truly changing her! She is so much happier and even shared with her daughter the things that she is learning as well as one of her coworkers. Sometimes recent converts or even investigators are better "missionaries" then members are.... I regret not being more involved in missionary work when I was home. Epy is a true testimony to me that God really is preparing people!!
One other favorite moments this week was when we were teaching Kelly (the 9 year old) She proceeded to tell us about how Santa Clause is really God dressed up! I laughed really hard.
Well my time is running short... But I love you all and you are in my prayers! Never forget the most important thing we have is the restored Gospel of Jesus Christ and our Families- no matter how imperfect they are. Look for opportunities to exercise and increase in faith and dont be afraid to share your testimony! I love you!~
